Attending the Show
Friday Evening Air Show & Night Fireworks: Gates open at 6:00 PM - Approximate Show Time: 6:30PM - 9:30PM
Saturday and Sunday: Gates open at 9:00 AM - Approximate Show Time: 12:00PM - 4:30PM
Slow-downs are likely on Air Show days. It is recommended that you plan extra time for possible traffic, detours, road closures, lines to park and lines at check-in or to buy tickets. (Road Closure Map)
Yes, each ticket is only valid for ONE day.
Yes, but ticket prices go up on May 16 and many areas will be sold out. It is best to buy tickets online in advance and to avoid lines at gate.
Yes, however only Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
Yes, all past and active military can purchase discounted general admission tickets with proof of Military ID.
Sunday, May 22 is “Honoring Our Military Day presented by Qorvo”.
Avoid lines - get your Military Ticket online in advance. Admission is discounted for the military member only.
PERMITTED ITEMS:
PLEASE NOTE: All bags and carry-in items will be checked by security at the gate.
- Small backpack or bag for:
- Medications, baby supplies, light clothing, sunscreen, ear-plugs
- Folding chair(s). blanket(s) on which to sit in the General Admission area. Note: Seating is not provided
- Strollers:Welcome in the General Admission, Family Garden, and Chalet areas. Strollers my be "parked" in the back of the Reserved Seating Area
- EMPTY Water Bottles: The Air Show will provide complimentary water from large water tanks located around the airport grounds. Additionally, bottled water is available for purchase at most concession booths. In agreement with TSA rules, you are permitted to bring EMPTY water bottles into the Air Show and fill them with water from the tanks. Please Note: Filled water/beverage bottles must be emptied prior to entering the show.
The Oregon International Air Show is held on airport property and has follows strict safety procedures. To ensure your safety, please remember the following items are NOT ALLOWED:
- ALL types of knives
- Leatherman-type multi-tools
- Guns or weapons of any kind
- Tents/Pop-up canopies
- Large umbrellas
- Bicycles (Bike parking is available at the Red Gate)
- Coolers
- Large backpacks
- Food and/or beverages unless medically necessary (baby formula/food is allowed)
- Glass containers of any kind
- Fireworks
- Pets of any kind. Note: Only service animals are permitted through the gate
PLEASE NOTE: All bags and carry-in items will be checked by security at the gate.
Transportation and Parking
Entry to the Air Show is at the “ORANGE GATE” located at the corner of 1800 NE 25th Avenue. (See FAQ map).
The “ORANGE GATE” is across the street from the Intel Jones Farm Parking lot and next to the Sunset West Parking lot.
From Portland: Hwy 26 Westbound: Take exit 61; turn left on Brookwood Pkwy; Turn right on
Evergreen Pkwy. Turn left on NE 25th Ave. Follow signs to the Intel Jones Farm parking lot on the
right. (2111 NE 25th Ave.)
From the coast: Hwy 26 Eastbound: Take exit 59; turn right on NW Jackson School Rd., turn left on
Evergreen Rd., turn right on NE 15th Ave. Follow signs to the Intel Jones Farm parking lot on the
left. (2111 NE 25th Ave.)
Eastbound from west of Hillsboro: Northbound on N 1st Ave., turn right on NE Grant St., turn left
on NW Jackson School Rd., turn right on NE Sunrise Ave., turn left on NE 15th Ave. Follow signs to
the Intel Jones Farm parking lot on the right.
NE Cornell Road will have the heaviest traffic; expect delays. Turn right or left on NE 25th Ave.,
follow signs to the Sunset West Parking lot on the right and to the Intel Jones Farm Parking lot on
the left.
Brookwood Pkwy will be closed for a few hours each day. (See Road Closure Map).
There are two (2) parking lot* options:
Intel Jones Farm lot, bordered by NE 25th Ave., NE Griffin Oaks Ave., and NE 15th Ave.
Parking in the Intel Jones Farm lot is included with every ticket*. (Upgraded parking is included
with President’s Club* tickets).
Sunset West Business Park: 1800 NE 25th Avenue. Closest to entrance gate “Orange Gate”.
($15 online in advance; $20 beginning May 16 - cash only at the parking lot)
*NOTE: There is NO PARKING at the Fairgrounds/Wingspan. Parking in the airport terminal lot is
ONLY allowed with a “TERMINAL PARKING PASS”.

On-Field Parking: SOLD OUT
Purchase your tickets in advance, only. No gate sales. Ticket-holders will receive an email with a
map to their parking location and instructions. Follow signs to the lot.
President’s Club*
Upgraded Parking is included with President’s Club tickets. You must purchase your tickets in advance. No gate sales. Ticket-holders will receive an email with a map to their extra-close, President’s Club parking location, instructions on how to get there, and will follow signs to the lot.
Parking lots are PRIVATE and are for Air Show ticket-holder parking only. No “tail-gating, alcoholic
beverages, picnicking, cooking/barbecue grilling, camping or loitering will be allowed.
Tri-Met and MAX also make frequent stops at or near the Orange Gate located near the 2200 block
of NE Griffin Oaks Ave. Visit www.tri-met.org to find out more about bus-line #46 schedules.
There is room for a limited number of bicycles against the fence near the Orange Gate. This area is not monitored.
If you are a Tri-Met Lyft member, contact http://www.tri-met.org for information about their shuttle service to and from the Air Show.
The Air Show recommends that you arrive early enough to account for traffic, detours, road closures and parking which may cause you to miss the show if you don’t plan accordingly.
Inside the Gate
Yes, but for safety reasons, it is in clearly identified and designated areas only.
Yes, ATM's are in multiple locations on the airfield.
General Admission and Reserved Seating ticket holders will be under open sky.
Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly and bring plenty of sunscreen and/or a small, hand-held umbrella. The President's Club Chalet, Walmart Veterans' Chalet, Family Garden, and Beer Garden ticket holders will have partly covered areas.
Yes, Individuals will need to get their hand stamped prior to leaving.
Please Note: The original admission ticket will NOT get you back into the Air Show.
Lost/found children and adults will meet at the Medical Tent. (See FAQ map).
Child ID wristbands will be available at entry and other locations on the field. Lost items will be held at the tent until end of show each day and then held at the Air Show office for 1 week after Air Show. Contact: info@oregonairshow.com
The Air Show happens rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges.
Yes, we accept applications for individual and group volunteers. We also have a few positions that are held by non-profit groups, clubs or organizations in exchange for a donation from the Air Show.
