Kellie Hudson was born and raised in Houston, TX. She joined the Air Force in 1996 at the age of 18 and served 20 years as an Air Traffic Controller. She retired from Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2016 where she still resides with her family. Since then she has worked as a contract Air Traffic Controller at Tonopah Test Range. She has a Bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle and a Masters degree in Business/Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Kellie has always been involved in airshows since 1997, including aircrew hospitality, ground operations and then began Air bossing in 2018. She has shadowed and been mentored by some of the best air bosses - Wayne Boggs, JimTucciarone, George Cline and Ralph Royce - before branching off on her own.
