The Oregon Air Show Charitable Foundation was formed in 2016, with the goal to serve the needs of underrepresented youth with a focus on aviation career paths. They strive to reach out to students from all backgrounds and remove any roadblocks that may prevent them from pursuing an aviation related career.

To support and inspire those with a passion for flight and a desire to learn.

Vision

• To promote and fund aviation career education through scholarships and other support to worthy students and organizations located in the Pacific Northwest.
• To provide financial support for philanthropic organizations involved in aviation.

Oregon Aerospace Careers for EVERYONE (O-ACE)

The Oregon Air Show Charitable Foundation (OASCF) is proud to be a private-public partnership of industry and community leaders who have created an aviation educational program for all students of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Oregon Aerospace Careers for EVERYONE (O-ACE) provides students with a life-altering opportunity to learn hands-on skills needed to pursue high-wage, in-demand careers in the aerospace industry. Focused on equal opportunities for EVERYONE, O-ACE seeks to create aerospace career opportunities for young women and underrepresented students by eliminating roadblocks in order to develop tomorrow’s leaders.

Aerospace and Career Day

Throughout the academic school year, the Oregon Air Show Charitable Foundations works with educators and volunteers to promote and educate students to careers in the Aerospace industry. This outreach culminates with a field trip to bring students out to the Oregon International Air Show practice day to participate in hands on activities, talk to pilots and engineers, and see some of the planes fly firsthand.

This program gives kids the opportunity to immerse themselves in hands-on STEAM and aviation related activities led by pilots, mechanics and engineers.

STEAM Workforce Development Symposium

In addition to the Aerospace and Career Day, the Oregon Air Show Charitable Foundation partners with Oregon International Air Show to create a STEAM Engagement Center each year! Connecting with several industry partners and schools, the Foundation and Air Show has created an action-packed area for people of all ages to come explore all the exciting opportunities within STEAM and aviation.
